Vivek Anand Oberoi (Born 3 September 1976) is an Indian actor and businessman. The son of actor Suresh Oberoi, he began acting in 2002 with starring roles in the Hindi crime film Company and romantic drama Saathiya.

While assisting with tsunami relief efforts in South India, Vivek Oberoi, who was experiencing personal struggles, met a mysterious elderly man at a temple. This man predicted that Vivek would face a significant financial loss but reassured him that his charitable work would safeguard him. This encounter, which could be seen as a form of divine intervention, appeared to influence Vivek’s life and career, particularly contributing to his current success in real estate.

Actor Vivek Oberoi recently shared a captivating story about an encounter he had during his year-long involvement in southern India, where he assisted with relief efforts following the 2004 tsunami. At that time, he was grappling with personal and professional challenges. Vivek revealed that his mother encouraged him to concentrate on helping others as a means of healing.

In a candid conversation on Dr. Jai Madaan’s YouTube channel, Vivek reflected on his spiritual experiences during this period. He recalled visiting a famous temple in the region while staying among the survivors of the disaster. Feeling mentally burdened, he was advised to visit the temple, which led to a memorable meeting with an elderly man. Despite his humble appearance—dressed simply in a dhoti and sporting a white beard—the man spoke to Vivek in “highly polished English.”

Old Man’s Predictions

The elderly man invited Vivek to sit next to him and observed his troubled state. He predicted that Vivek was on the brink of facing a significant financial loss but reassured him that his charitable work in the relief efforts would protect him from this fate. The man explained that this was part of his karma and that his good deeds would eventually bring rewards.

After following the man’s advice, Vivek returned to the temple, only to find that the elderly figure had vanished. When he asked the temple staff about the man, they claimed no one matching that description had been there. Stunned, Vivek was left questioning whether the encounter had been real or a spiritual manifestation. He stated that, regardless of the man’s physical presence, he considered him to be a divine figure, akin to God, whose words had profoundly impacted his life.

Child Prostitution Ring

Vivek also discussed how this experience may have influenced his later success, including his current ventures in the real estate business, where he is now involved in multi-crore deals. In the same interview, Vivek recounted another incident at the temple when a man approached him and alerted him to an alleged “child prostitution ring.” Upon investigating the claim, he said he discovered several girls being held in a small room. He recalled feeling “a rage,” and this experience motivated him to start a foundation.
